|Dear Friends of FARE,
We wanted to let you know about an upcoming opportunity in your area. Join FARE, the Natalie Giorgi Sunshine Foundation and the San Francisco Giants on Peanut Allergy Friendly Night at AT&T Park, as the Giants battle the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday, July 24, at 7:15 p.m. The Giants have set aside section VR 336 as a Peanut-Controlled Section* where Giants fans managing peanut allergies can enjoy the ballgame for $9.00 per ticket. Each person with a Peanut Allergy Friendly ticket for VR 336 will be required to sign a waiver before entering the Peanut-Controlled Section. To purchase tickets, click here.
FARE and the Natalie Giorgi Sunshine Foundation will also be hosting an information table on the Promenade Level of the ballpark, so be sure to come by and say hello!
For any questions regarding the Peanut Allergy Friendly Night at AT&T Park on July 24, please email Sahru Keiser at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that FARE plays no role in policing activity at these events, and FARE does not offer stadium preparation guidelines for these games. Below is a note from the Giants about their procedures for the game. FARE encourages individuals to reach out directly to the Giants at email@example.com to learn more about their efforts.
*Note from the Giants: Fans should be aware that a peanut-controlled zone does not mean that the zone or the other sections in AT&T Park will be or are peanut free. The San Francisco Giants play in a ballpark where wind and other conditions outside of their control may impact the peanut-controlled zone. While reasonable efforts have been made to make the designated zone peanut-controlled, we cannot guarantee the absence of peanuts, or peanut fragments, dust, particles or residue. Fans with peanut allergies should take all precautions that they customarily take in public places with potential exposure.
