Angela Ingram, NP
Angela received her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 2002. After graduation, she began to pursue her degree in nursing. She has over 6 years of experience as a Registered Nurse with the John Muir Health System. Angela loves working with individuals of all ages and has a strong interest in community health and education. In May 2013, she completed her Masters of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Sonoma State University.
Since birth, Angela has struggled with eczema as well as environmental and food allergies so she understands what is involved in managing such conditions. Angela is very excited to be a part of the Allergy and Asthma Medical Group team.
Tara Mostofi, PA
Tara completed her undergraduate training at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. She was employed as a Research Assistant for several years at the University of Colorado Health Science Center in Denver, Colorado specializing in basic science research in blood clotting disorders. Although the research fascinated her, she wanted more direct interaction with patients and returned to earn her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University, Glendale AZ campus in August of 2000. She practiced in surgical and family practice settings in Colorado and rural California before relocating to the Bay Area to be closer to family.
She joined Allergy and Asthma medical group in August of 2011. She focuses on acute management of asthma and allergy flares. She is a sub-investigator in the clinical research division of the office and also performs the bronchial challenges and full pulmonary function exams ordered by the allergists. Outside of the office, Tara enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, the dog, and back yard chickens. She has a brown thumb in the garden and loves biking, backpacking, and yoga.
Amy Shell, NP
Amy attended CSU Long Beach then CSU Hayward for undergraduate BSN and Registered Nursing program. She began her career working as a RN then Nurse Manager and Nursing Administrator until returning to school for graduate education and MSN – Family Nurse Practitioner certification at Holy Names University.
Amy began working in the field of Allergy & Asthma in 2002 and joined Allergy & Asthma Medical Group in February 2013 after moving to the East Bay. She has a love for teaching and explaining health processes in a very tangible way that aids in learning.
When she is not working, Amy is an avid golfer and enjoys playing and watching most all sports.
